Nutrition

Students learn about the importance of improving their nutritional habits and eating healthy.

Some activities include:

  • Healthy Snacks:  We are able to provide healthy snacks and water to our students and we encourage them to eat healthier and drink more water on a daily basis
  • Recipes:  Our students learn how to make a healthy meal on a budget by preparing recipes that are implemented in our curriculum and through video examples
  • Nutritionists/Chefs:   Our students are provided recipes supplied by professional chefs and nutritionists to share with their families
  • Local Restaurants:  Students are given the opportunity to visit restaurants to learn about healthy cooking habits
