Students learn about the importance of improving their nutritional habits and eating healthy.
Some activities include:
- Healthy Snacks: We are able to provide healthy snacks and water to our students and we encourage them to eat healthier and drink more water on a daily basis
- Recipes: Our students learn how to make a healthy meal on a budget by preparing recipes that are implemented in our curriculum and through video examples
- Nutritionists/Chefs: Our students are provided recipes supplied by professional chefs and nutritionists to share with their families
- Local Restaurants: Students are given the opportunity to visit restaurants to learn about healthy cooking habits
